As a vegan myself, I understand the struggles of finding delicious plant-based treats that don’t sacrifice taste for the lack of animal products. That’s why when I stumbled upon Vicky’s Veganry, I was beyond excited to give their baked goods a try. And let me tell you, they did not disappoint.
Vicky’s Veganry is a leading plant-based bakery in the Sandton area and they bake mouth-watering treats daily using the freshest ingredients and baked with love. They have a wide selection of treats such as cakes, cupcakes, muffins, scones, peanut butter bites, cookies, lamingtons, brownies, cheesecake, apple pies, and much much more. They also offer customisable plant-based prints which is a plus point. Perfect for those special occasions when you want to showcase your company, or even if you just want to showcase that special person perhaps!
The owner, Vicky, grew up with a passion for baking and has many fond memories of baking for her family as a teenager. This passion for creating wonderful treats has stayed with her to this day, and she often finds herself in the kitchen experimenting with a new recipe or trying to create a unique treat. It wasn’t until a close friend of Vicky’s decided to go vegan that she started to investigate what eating plant-based foods involved and soon decided to make a change to her own lifestyle and go vegan too.

For my own tasting experience, I was able to try out some of the delicious goodies you see below.
I indulged in a sweet tooth delight with an array of treats that were nothing short of spectacular. From the fudgy and rich brownies to the chewy and sweet date squares, my taste buds were tantalized. The choc and peanut butter cookies were a perfect balance of salty and sweet, and the vanilla and biscoff cupcakes left me feeling as though I was on cloud nine. The chocolate cupcakes were indulgent and chocolatey, while the carrot cupcakes with vegan cream cheese frosting were a delightful surprise that made me forget all about any dietary restrictions. It was an absolute feast for my senses, and I’d be hard-pressed to pick a favourite.
As I indulged in the delicious plant-based treats, I couldn’t help but think about the love and dedication that went into each and every one of them. Vicky’s Veganry truly puts in the effort to make sure that their treats are not only vegan but also delicious and enjoyable for anyone who tries them with an aesthetically pleasing look and well-designed packaging.
I highly recommend visiting Vicky’s Veganry and trying their baked goods. Trust me, you won’t regret it. The taste and quality exceeded my expectations, and I can’t wait to order from them again. Vicky’s Veganry is not only a great place to enjoy some delicious treats but also a place where one can support a business that is passionate about its community, the environment and of course the love for animals.
